A personal thank you – and looking ahead to our first anniversary | The G&LC Update

As we approach the first anniversary of The Gift & Lifestyle Consortium, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all our members for your support, trust and belief in what we are building together.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been nine months since we began this journey. As founding members, you have played an important part in helping us get to where we are today, and I’m genuinely grateful for your continued support.

As we look ahead to our first year anniversary, I believe it’s important to reflect on what we’ve achieved so far, but more importantly, to make sure we are delivering meaningful value to our members and their businesses.

One of our key objectives has been to act as an extra member of staff and save you time/resource, hopefully support in reducing costs and access valuable services and benefits that can make a real difference to your business. Since joining, members have used the Consortium for support across areas including prospects, sales agency & distribution and general advice, as well as joining Bira Direct.

There are however over 60+ services & benefits and we would like to ensure all members are aware of the opportunities available and, where appropriate, help you achieve significant savings or simply learnings.

With this in mind, I’d love to arrange personal reviews with members during November, at a day and time that suits you. It would be an opportunity to understand your current needs, explore where we may be able to help further and make sure you’re getting the most from your membership.

In the meantime, I’d really value your honest feedback on a few questions.

• What could we do better to improve your experience and deliver more value?
• Are there any services or benefits we’re currently missing that you would like to see included?
• Looking ahead to 2027, what is the one thing you would most like to change, improve or achieve in your business?

Your feedback is incredibly important to us. As founding members, you have a unique opportunity to help shape the direction of the Consortium and influence the services, benefits and opportunities we develop for the future.

Thank you again for being part of the journey so far. We have exciting plans ahead, and I look forward to speaking with members individually over the coming months and continuing to build something that genuinely makes a difference to your businesses.
